Ecotécnica Captures Customers from Canada, France and Brazil
They project an expansion of 30% for 2012, manufacturing and installing industrial ventilation systems and environmental decontamination.
Diario Estrategia- 11/15/2012 - Ecotécnica is a SME specialized in manufacturing and installing industrial ventilation systems and environmental decontamination. This company grew out of the enthusiasm and effort of a father and a son, Ezequiel Zuazo and Marcelo Zuazo, who started working in the living room of a house, now they have a company where 21 employees work: "We started with a telephone, a fax and a door that served as a desk ", explains Marcelo.
They started in 1994 "without external financing or economic aid, each one kept their respective jobs and we worked on the project in our free time, making engineering plans. When they were already bigger works we got that the clients gave us some advance payment to be able to pay to the maestranzas ", tells Marcelo. Father and son were saving until in 2000 they could locate themselves in the industrial estate where they are now. Despite the fact that economic recessions have caused them misfortunes, they surpassed them with "flexibility of cost, capacity to get ahead and shrink, looking for more specialized market niches and creating a higher level of engineering," they say. Although Ecotécnica has grown at an average rate of 15% per year in recent years, this exercise has done so at close to 30%. They have attracted clients from Canada, France and Brazil who do projects in Chile. They plan to invest their profits in technological innovation to open up to export.
